Beginning the journey in Porto or and always with the greatest comfort we will head towards Terras de Bouro and the 70000 hectares of Park that we want to show you. Considered a World Biodiversity Reserve by UNESCO in 2009, the park is a unique attraction in the national panorama, for its size, diversity, and beauty. For millennia it has been home to human and animal life. In its tracks Celts, Romans, medieval people have travelled and lived… and now it is our time!
Today there are centuries-old agro-pastoral villages shaped by their isolation, history and different local resources. With so many interesting features, our private tour to Gerês has all it takes to meet the most diverse tastes and needs.
During the day you will have the opportunity to walk through ancient stone villages and interact not only with the inhabitants, but also with the animals that populate the park. Enjoy the experience and get all the information about the culture and traditions. And because water is life, you can also experience the most beautiful waterfalls in the park with waterfalls of several meters in a safe and pure fun environment.
Lover of good food? You can taste the fantastic flavors of our picnic accompanied by one of the most beautiful views of the park. If on the other hand you would rather enjoy the comfort of a closed space, we suggest a lunch in a typical restaurant of the region.
Do you like to walk? We have for you breathtaking idyllic trails with longer or shorter distances and less or more demanding walks. Behold wild animals such as the horse Garrano, the deer and who knows… if we are struck by luck, even the famous Iberian Wolf.
Is bike your thing? You may include a bike ride through the park’s old Geira Romana (Roman Way).
