Afonso was the heart of our city—friendly, humble, and deeply proud of his roots. A passionate hiker and a true team player, he brought warmth, care, and unmatched dedication to every tour and friendship. As a guide, he was the kind of person who made you feel like you were exploring with a lifelong friend. "Fonzie" passed away in May 2023, but his spirit is forever part of our journey.
